Susan. Thank you so much for the information. I am fairly new to this and I was beginning to think I would never get anywhere with my Irish side of the family. I keep hearing that most of the Irish records were destroyed in a fire way back. I will certainly check out the sites you mentioned but I dont have very much to go on, its hard toknow if you have the right person. Joshua came to Australia in about 1859, so I dont think Ellis Island would help unless they have other countries passenger lists? Our family was not Catholic, so thats a start.
