The Farnham Arms is an ok hotel in the middle of town, within walking distance of the library and the Genealogical center as well as the major churches and cathedral. It is clean and comfy-but on Friday nights the town is often filled with raucous young people-no threat, just lots of them and having had drink, most are noisy. The Kilmore is further out of town heading back to Dublin, clean, comfy , less noise. There is a guest house near the bus station called the Bridge Guest House-and my family has stayed there. It's clean, sparse and well priced. Good luck. There is a B& B out near the Kilmore called Roseborough-it is probably in the Ireland Golden pages (phone book). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deborah Annandale" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 26, 2007 5:32 PM Subject: [IRL-CAVAN] Trip to Cavan >I am in the process of arranging a Trip to Ireland and of course I intend >to spend some time in Co.
