Hi Diane, Thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of the below site. It's really wonderful. I've taken your suggestion. I thought I might be better off looking for the parents of James & Catherine Maguire nee Bannan, as I'm not exactly sure when the emigrated to Scotland. It looks promising, as I only found 1 Bernard Bannon and 2 Terence Maguires in county Cavan. So I will give those 2 a shot. I really appreciate the trouble you have taken to give me a guiding hand.
