    1. [IRL-CAVAN] New to the list - surnames - advice please
    2. Dear listers, I am new to this list and would like to ask for some help with the families I am researching. I am not sure if I have found the right spot in Ireland yet, but have a possible lead to Tullyvin, Cavin. I am looking for the following families: James Gorman and wife Annie Dunn probable children born between 1830 - 1843 include Patrick, Mary, Michael C., Ellen, Jane, John, Bridget and Johanna. Unknown Gorman probably children born between 1820 - 1845 include Thomas, Bridget, Johanna, Bernard, Jane, John, Michael, Patrick and Mary Ann. Associated families are: Ann (Hannah) (possibly Reilly) born abt. 1840 Ellen May Conway born abt. 1841 Elizabeth Irwin born abt. 1839 Thomas Kennedy born abt. 1843 James McFarland born abt. 1820 Patrick Cronin born abt. 1821 Margaret (possibly Clark) born abt. 1843 Belinda May born abt. 1845 John Noonan born abt. 1825 (These people are all spouses - they were married except for Margaret Clark in Philadelphia, PA, USA) Also brothers John Dunn born 1825 and Michael P. Dunn born 1833. Their mother's name was probably Julia. Also Thomas Hendrick born about 1820, possibly the son of Charles. Also William Virtue born about 1792, wife Elizabeth born 1796, and son Anthony born 1830. If any of this looks familiar, or there are any online resources or records available that I can personally search, I would love to hear about it. This is a massive Philadelphia family that has taken me 18 years to investigate. The 1930 census for only two people confirms that this family was not from Northern Ireland, but from the Irish free states. Thanks to anyone that can help!
