    3. Good luck with your hunt. Mine settled first in Chingacousy Twp., York Co., near present day Toronto, in the 1830's and then moved on to the Woodstock, Oxford Co. area, just west, along the 401. I have picked up no mention of kin in Manitoba. I urge you to post your tree to Rootsweb. I have been contacted by several cousins who found me that way. My lines has been pushed back along several paths, and one 15 year brick wall tumbled with four more generations added and a hook up into a line that took me back to the 1500's. This is in a part of Lancashire where cousins married cousins so I already had these people as ancestors other parts of that branch. Thanks for letting me look at your website. Yours seem to have come to Ontario where mine went to Qubec and then my gg grandfather went to Ontario and then came onto Manitoba. I believe they came from around Ballyhaise but have no idea of if that is close to Meath or not. We think they came around 1825 looking at dates that children were born. I have not posted any info yet but will seriously give it some thought after I reurn from vacation.. 3. Hi, Malcolm, We sure got the ball rolling on Nesbitt, didn't we? Hope some of it ties in for you. Maybe we should ask the list owner if we can list our names of interest again and see what happens. Haven't done that for awhile... 3. Hi Kay That seems reasonable. That's why we're here. I'm looking for SEAMANs and HARTNETs in Cavan. Virtually next door in Fermanagh I'm chasing ANDERSONs, BESTs, CARRs and McDOWELLs. The McDOWELL/CARR couple parented two girls who married a BEST in Co Fermagh and a SEAMAN in Cavan. The above people, or their children, came to Shawville, Clarendon Twp., Pontiac Co., Quebec (Lower Canada) in about 1832. My NESBITTs seem rooted in MEATH, which is also nearby. They came to York Co., Ontario, also circa 1832. Everything was quite close together in this part of Ireland. We have to look across county lines. Who are others searching for, and where are they in the neighbourhood?
