Hi Everyone, my interests are KELLS AND EMO. My G. Great Grandparents were Edward Kells who was married to Margaret Emo. Edward was born in 1821 in Cavanagh and died in the 1850s. Margaret died in the workhouse in Lisnaskea in 1892. They had 4 sons and 2 daughters. One of the sons was William Henry b. 1845 , he was my Great Grandfather and he settled in Barrow-in-Furness (LANCASHIRE UK then, now Cumbria).He married Matilda Birkett of Coniston. The other children were Margaret John Robert Mary Jane George Aaron. I have just visited one of the original churchyards in Ballyconnell where most of them lived. Eventually Edward moved to Derrylin (Knockateggal) Fermanagh. Although I know a great deal about the Kells bunch I am in the dark about the Emo' Clan, any help would be great so that our next visit we could follow up on the Emos. We can't wait to visit again as we thought Ireland one of the best holidays yet. Regards Veronica (nee Kells)
