    3. A good place to start would be the Killeshandra website at: http://www.iol.ie/~galwill/welcome.htm This will give you the basics of the area and tips for next steps. My family is also from Killeshandra (Corradownan) and scattered to Canada, US, UK and Australia. All the best .... 3. Hello Marlene, I have just had a look at the 1841 census for Killeshandra, in particular the townland of Corr. The following entry is listed for Goodfellow - James Goodfellow 45 - married 1819 Elizabeth '' 44 born in County Westmeath MARY Jane '' 19 daughter - dressmaker Sarah '' 17 '' '' Anna '' 13 '' Elizabeth '' 1o '' Richard '' 8 son Fanny '' 5 daughter Margaret '' 4m '' There were also 2 servants listed - Pat Roark & Philip Wren. I also have an Eliza Goodfellow on my Sheridan family tree because a sister of my great, great grandfather Eliza Jane Sheridan married a Thomas Goodfellow in 1855, she was also born in 1830. Hope the above information is of interest. Bye for now, David Sheridan. --- Marlene Jackson <[email protected]> wrote: > I am new to this list and also not very > knowledgeable about researching > in Ireland, so could use some help, pls > My g grandmother Eliza GOODFELLOW was born 10 Feb > 1830 in Corr, > Killashandra parish, Cavan; d/o James GOODFELLOW > and mother unknown.(except born Drung, Cavan c 1808 > and married c 1829 > How do I go about learning any more about this > family?
