    3. I was disappointed to hear the roads dept in Ireland has used such a cavalier way to deal with a graeyard they find inconvenient. This damage is immeasurable. I have an idea that may mitigate to a small degree the sadness we all feel at this loss. How about taking dna samples from these bones that are being kept and adding the results into a database of people searching for their Irish ancestors in this way? It may also promote voluntary donation of dna data to help more find their families. I have not engaged in dna matching because finding my ancestors is still proving difficult. My Irish ancestors all came from somewhere else about 1820 so I'm stumped there. If I was more confident of it being useful for me I would do it. Any thoughts on this? Of course, the volunteers would need money for the testing. Donation of services in the national interest? Gifts from supporters? Kathleen
