I have been trying for some time to find my McGUIRK relations, last known to be living in Cavan, Co Cavan during the First World War c.1917. Today on a random Google, I found mention of a McGuirk House in Knockahista, Cavan, Co Cavan. However, none of the online map finders could locate Knockahista. Does anyone on the list have any ideas about (1) Knockahista, (2) McGuirk House, and (3) the McGuirk family. Any advice appreciated.
