    2. Leigh: As you know, Farrelly is a very common Cavan name, with literally dozens in Griffith's index (including two Corneliuses, in Mullagh and Lavey parishes). My Farrellys came from Enniskeen and included a Michael, probably born between 1810 and 1820, as yours likely was, but he reportedly went to America. To better link up with people researching Farrellys from Cavan, you should give James's parish and townland. If you don't have that, you can get it from the civil record of his birth.
