    3. Yes - those give clues. What you want to do is focus on "land" records. They have what the FHL calls: "General Valuation Records" - think of them as the record since "Griffith's Valuation". They list who the current tenants, owners are and the dates when they were no longer the responsible parties. That is a direct clue of when they emigrated to another country. This is a terrific resource for County Cavan.
