Now that I read back further on this, if you have the names of James FARELLY's parents from the US death certificate, the Index for Marriages in Ireland will [should] have the marriage listed which I can confirm by looking up both bride and groom's names and see if the Index data matches exactly. It has to match for them to be married to each other. Write to me with these names IF the marriage likely took place after 1 Jan, 1864 OR was Church of Ireland after 1 Jan, 1845. Catholic marriages were not mandated to be recorded until 1864. Between 1845 and 1863, only Church of Ireland [protestant] marriages had to be recorded.
