Dear Pat, I am putting together a database of all the JACKSONs I know about in Ireland in the 1700s (it is a rather clumsy way of trying to narrow down potential leads for my lot). I can't help you much as yet, but I'll keep your email and let you know if and when I learn more. A James JACKSON, Henry JACKSON and Robert JACKSON all show up in Cavan at Rahillan in the 1761 Poll book as freeholders. Do you have an estimated or known birth date for any of your JACKSONs? Right off the top of my head, I don't have a clue where Rahillan is relative to Belturbet or Belcoo, but I am guessing that ever erudite Pete might step up to the plate on this one. Good luck!
