Ann, I have had some luck on the following site tracing my Gambles from Cavan Ireland who left Cavan in 1852. I know they were in Wellington County, Ontario in 1871, but thats it. It is not inexpensive but with your facts you will proably have some success. I have managed to establish births as early as 1827. I do not often post but I would like to ask for advice on an inexpensive way to have someone research records earlier than 1827. I have some basic name, date, religion, Griifiths evlauation, and land lease information but cannot quite put it all together. I suspect by the number of Gambles running around at that name time with ages and names the same that they were there at least a couple of generations earlier.
