Yes, I use failteromhat to get an overview (when I need one), figure out where surnames, or combinations of surnames, were most common. I then check the Irish Family History Foundation site to see if they've indexed the parish records. If they have, I look for the particular people I'm researching in the index. If I can narrow my prospects down to one or two parishes, I check the LDS filmed parish records. At about the same time, I go to askabout ireland to look for more information about those prospects or their possible relatives. Diane
