Apologies if it did go through I want to thank the list, especailly Rosaleen, for your help in getting me started in chasing up my Jackson family. I have been chasing up what is available in Sydney and an index to BDMs gave me John and Jemima's marriage date. Have ordered LDS films of the RIC records and parish registers and as the 1911 Irish census for Cavan should be available shortly (according to their fantastic website) will await these before further research. Further Queensland research around one daughter Agnes Jackson (Grantham) indicates other members of the family just may have also come to Australia .......! Since then the LDS film of Royal Irish Constabulary has arrived and more info is added to the mix! cheers Narelle
