I would be grateful for any advice/suggestions to resolving a conundrum My gggrandfather was John McMahon, son of Philip McMahon and Elizabeth Meehan, who was christened on 12/12/1830 in the RC parish of Drumgoon. What is the best way of getting hold of further information about Philip McMahon and Elizabeth Meehan (ie age, parents, other family, occupations and especially where they lived?).
