    1. Re: [IRL-CAVAN] Thank You- Marriage Query
    2. I just acquired the Baptismal certificates of my CONNELL g-g grandfather [b 1836] and his four older siblings; the eldest was born in 1828. This was from County Cavan, Catholic parish of Balyna, St. Bridget's Church in Clogharinka/Clogharinkoe. In addition, their mother DORAN, and her siblings' records were there back to 1808. So, you may not want to assume you'll be disappointed. 1. [IRL-CAVAN] GRO vs IFHF Documents
    2. Melanie Egan
    3. I've purchased a number of transcribed documents through the Irish Family History Foundation website. Now with the Civil Record Index available on the Family Search pilot website, I wanted to find out if it is worthwhile to purchase any duplicate records from the government office (GRO), other than that the GRO copies would be a primary source. Has anyone found errors or additional information when getting the actual document from GRO? Melanie Egan Orlando FL
