Regarding surname Farley from County Cavan. My grandfather was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1886. I found the family in the 1900 US census. It appears that his father was born in NY ( his parents were from Ireland) His birth year is 1853. If there is any connection, I'd love to hear from you. I've hit a blank wall trying to track them down.
