I, too, have another Owen Kelly, but he was born in Monaghan in 1842 and came to Boston at the age of 10 in 1852. My mystery with him is where he was after landing in Boston and then after 1860is when he joined the army to fight for the North. My first records are his army papers that thankfully my Dad saved and now I have them. I am trying to find where in Monaghan he lived and his parent's name.
