    3. Jennifer, Thank you. I had looked there. I am looking for Bridget Fee not Margaret. I was hoping to find at least their first child. Since they married in Nov of 1916 that only leaves the next 2 years. They do not seem to have come to the U.S. Thank you again, Slán, Marge in Southern California Searching: Golden, Sullivan, Kelly, Shea, O'Connor in Kerry and Connecticut Fee, Cassidy, Gilbride in Fermanagh, Cavan and Connecticut Lynch in Kildare, Limerick and Connecticut Walsh, Stackpole, Garry, Donovan, Doyle, Clowney/Clooney, King in Kildare ----- On Oct 25, 2019, at 4:26 PM, Jennifer Douglas [email protected] wrote: Hi Have you tried looking at irishgenealogy.com? 1. [IRL-CAVAN] Hutchison/Hutchinson in Cootehill area late 1700's and onwards
    2. Hi Folks I'm trying to find any trace of a Hutchison family from the Cootehill area from which several family members emigrated to Canada and the US in the early 1800's but others remained there. We're also hoping to find any current descendants of the line who may still be living there. We have a Mr Hutchison (ca. 1760- ca. 1837) who married a Mary Foster. They had the following children according to family records passed down: (very few dates were given) James Hutchison - emigrated to Philadelphia and contact was lost Foster Hutchison - he m. Mary Kerr in Cootehill area and emigrated to Canada Joshua Hutchison - remained in Cavan; at least two of his children (George and Susanah) came to Canada but Susanah soon returned to Ireland; George's descendants live here (Canada) today Sarah (Sally) Hutchison - came to Canada, married George Campbell and raised a large family here Bell Hutchison - married a James Higgins and moved to America (no idea where) Eliza Hutchison - m. George Brown and emigrated to New York state Mary Hutchison - m. Mr McCadam or McAdam who died on their way to America; his family settled in Philadelphia Jane Hutchison - totally unknown Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tom Joshua Hutchison b. ca. 1806 d. Oct-Dec. 1885 Cootehill (his death certificate with more information on it could be ordered from Cavan Records Office)

    1. [IRL-CAVAN] Re: LOVE/CLARK, Bailieborough
    2. Amanda Terlecki
    3. HI, I am descended from Robert Williamson (1765-1847)(Duneena, Cavan -just north of Bailieborough) and Eleanor Love (ca 1770-1852) of the Love family of Carnalynch, Killinkere, Cavan, Ireland. There are Loves also in Clare Townland, Crosserlough, County Cavan (NOT County Clare). They had Young Williamson (b 1804) X Jane Fleming (b 1807). Eleanor Love's brothers were Samuel b 1785, William b 1780, John b 1790. I am connected to the latter's descendant Patrick Ramsey whose mother is a Love. I am also connected to Judy Johnson who is a descendant of - I have yet to exactly place - another Samuel Love b 1776 who married Sarah Clark and had 8 children in Carnalynch, Cavan then emigrated to Delaware, NY, USA in 1817 then having two more children. Details are in my tree. My family tree if you are on ancestry.com is CRAVENWILLIAMSONSACKVILLEBOLEYNFISELIERDEHAAN so you can see all the Cavan Loves of Carnalynch there and some from Crosserlough as well. I hope this helps. Blessings, Amanda My mum Eileen Margaret Williamson emigrated to Canada in 1957

    3. Who did Conner marry? And when was he born? I have a "Connor" but no information except that he is the son of Edward and Mary. I'll have to go back through my records and try to get this back in my head... What was your maiden name, Jean? My connection to Tackney is through Nicholas O'Brien who married Bridget Tackney... -----Original Message----- From: Jean Old <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 30, 2019 2:55 AM To: County Cavan, Ireland <[email protected]> Subject: [IRL-CAVAN] Re: TACKNEY / TACKENY Hi Kay I am sure we have spoke before i have Edward born 1866 and a Bridget and 1862 they are related to my cousin Sherry Bridget,s their father was Conner they were born in coothill I also have a cousin who DNA connected to he is a Sexton he seems to think could also be connected to Tackney I also have DNA matches to Stanton have you done yours not that i also go on it anyway Regards Jean On Sat, Mar 30, 2019 at 7:30 AM Kay Stanton <[email protected]> wrote: > Does anyone have information on the family of Bridget Tackney (dau. of > Edward) born 1818 in Cootehill... 3. Hi--my husband is Joseph Anthony Boylan.  His father was Joseph William Boylan.  His father was Matthew .the son of John Lawrence Boylan who emigrated from Ireland in the 1840's.  John worked as a laborer in New York, saved up his money, met and married Bridget Slattery.  They came to Illinois and started to farm near Manhattan, IL.  His brother Joe  started a farm across the road and married a Cunningham---I don't know much about her.  John Lawrence Boylan and  Joseph are buried in St. Patrick's cemetery in Joliet, IL.  I have the obit for John Lawrence Boylan and I can send you a copy if you wish.  Unfortunately the 2 farms were lost during the Great Depression in America.    The farmhouse still stands.  We were in Ireland in 2009 and spent a few days roaming around at a cemetery off Kilnaleck Rd.  If you want to write, our address is Joe Boylan, 21508 Lake St. Clair Drive, Crest Hill, IL. 60403.  I find that writing is a lot more fun than typing on a computer.  If you ever decide to visit, let us know...we can have a really massive reunion and show you where the old farm was.  I am going to start looking for the obit for John Lawrence now.  You need to read it.  Big Hugs.    Judy On ‎Saturday‎, ‎March‎ ‎09‎, ‎2019‎ ‎11‎:‎30‎:‎01‎ ‎AM‎ ‎CST, Ann Hamilton <[email protected]> wrote: My Boylans are from Tonylion, and the others aren't far away.  Nancy _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Email preferences: http://bit.ly/rootswebpref Unsubscribe https://lists.rootsweb.com/postorius/lists/[email protected] Privacy Statement: https://ancstry.me/2JWBOdY Terms and Conditions: https://ancstry.me/2HDBym9 Rootsweb Blog: http://rootsweb.blog RootsWeb is funded and supported by Ancestry.com and our loyal RootsWeb community
