Since they married in Nov of 1916 that only leaves the next 2 years. My grandmother's sister, Bridget Fee, married Thomas Rooney on 20 Nov 1916 in the RC church in Swanlinbar. He was the son of Bernard Rooney and Margaret Cassley, born 20 Nov 1887 in Killcreen, Scotstown, Monaghan. He was listed as a farmer in (I think) Drumany in at the time of the marriage. Hi Folks I'm trying to find any trace of a Hutchison family from the Cootehill area from which several family members emigrated to Canada and the US in the early 1800's but others remained there. We're also hoping to find any current descendants of the line who may still be living there. We have a Mr Hutchison (ca. 1760- ca. 1837) who married a Mary Foster. They had the following children according to family records passed down: (very few dates were given) James Hutchison - emigrated to Philadelphia and contact was lost Foster Hutchison - he m. Mary Kerr in Cootehill area and emigrated to Canada Joshua Hutchison - remained in Cavan; at least two of his children (George and Susanah) came to Canada but Susanah soon returned to Ireland; George's descendants live here (Canada) today Sarah (Sally) Hutchison - came to Canada, married George Campbell and raised a large family here Bell Hutchison - married a James Higgins and moved to America (no idea where) Eliza Hutchison - m. George Brown and emigrated to New York state Mary Hutchison - m. Mr McCadam or McAdam who died on their way to America; his family settled in Philadelphia Jane Hutchison - totally unknown Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tom Joshua Hutchison b. ca. 1806 d. HI, I am descended from Robert Williamson (1765-1847)(Duneena, Cavan -just north of Bailieborough) and Eleanor Love (ca 1770-1852) of the Love family of Carnalynch, Killinkere, Cavan, Ireland. There are Loves also in Clare Townland, Crosserlough, County Cavan (NOT County Clare). They had Young Williamson (b 1804) X Jane Fleming (b 1807). Eleanor Love's brothers were Samuel b 1785, William b 1780, John b 1790. I am connected to the latter's descendant Patrick Ramsey whose mother is a Love. I am also connected to Judy Johnson who is a descendant of - I have yet to exactly place - another Samuel Love b 1776 who married Sarah Clark and had 8 children in Carnalynch, Cavan then emigrated to Delaware, NY, USA in 1817 then having two more children. Details are in my tree.
