There is a book, A Christian Calling, Religious Life and Christian Death in Clonegal Parish, that was published in 2000. It has a lot of good material in it, from gravestone inscriptions, marriage and burial registers, and the Tithe Applotment from 1824 for Barragh and Moyacomb (the two ancient parishes that comprise Clonegal Parish). You may be able to order a copy from Fr. Fleming, the pastor, in Clonegal. The compilers, Eamon Whelan and Rory Murphy have both died since the book's publication. DJ
