Templeshelin is in Wexford, near Adamstown. I visited there last fall because the church was Church of Ireland and a family story of our Irish Catholics says that one branch of the family came from a Protestant parson. My branch of the Catholics I believe is from Marley, St. Mullins, Carlow, but their cousins were from Wexford. We have one marriage record only for one of the cousins from the RC church at Adamstown, and possibly the mother of this woman at Templeshelin in the 1834 tithe applotments. We think the mother's father or grandfather may have been the CofI parson (Rev. Lucas) so I wanted to see what was left of Templeshelin. There were only a handful headstones there and not much in Cantwell's Memorials of the Dead which I accessed at the Wexford City library. I was also interested in the Parslow name, because, back in Marley, in looking at the provenance of Marley House, I saw that a Parslow family was living there in the early 1900s. I don't know of any relation of my people to Parslows but my people lived next door. This link http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Jacob-722 has information in a posting way down at the bottom about Parslows buried in Templeshelin. Regards, ~Linda S.
