    3. Fantastic, I didn't know he was in Carlow. Painestown, now Oak Park, belonged to Colonel Henry Bruen who had been deputy quartermaster to the British Army during the American War of Independence. Raspe was born in Hanover - is there a connection between him and the Hanover street-name in Carlow?
