    3. Before he joined the Insurance Company, Frank Ellis was the general manager of the Dublin based "Bookie Offices" for Frank Slater. Following the death of his wife Frank retired to St Bridget's Hospital in Carlow, he gave me a copy of his booklet " Memories of Frank Ellis" shortly before he died in 2001.
