    3. Hello Kate, Thanks for writing in regard to the name Onaghan. That is how I found the surname "HOLOHAN" spelt in the Dunleckney baptisms. I've found it spelt many different ways but this was a new one. I would possibly have missed the entries if I hadn't spotted the wife's name....Anne Derenzy....spelt as Anne Darenzy in these entries. I knew it had to be the couple I was searching for. Isn't it strange how the spellings would be so different depending on who was writing things down. Wonder what the first name is for the fellow who went to Chicago? I know my Great-Grandfather had a number of brothers and as it was the time around the famine.....it wouldn't surprise me if one or more of them went to America. There were two Michael's born into this family...and a David, John and James as well. All the best, Pat in NJ ----- Original Message ----- From: <Kate_Miller@ilnd.uscourts.gov> To: <irl-carlow@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 16, 2010 11:02 AM Subject: [IRL-CARLOW] Onaghan > Pat, > > FYI -- I'm always looking at an Onaghan/Nolan couple from Carlow who came > to Chicago as possibly connected to my Nolans from Myshall.
