Good point...I attempted to explain this at the outset of the Transcribing project....but today the Registers are referred to as Carlow Cathedral Registers and are so named on the spine in Gold Leaf. To avoid confusion it may be best keep that title combined with Roman Catholic, although I prefer to call them Carlow Town R.C. Registers.
