Pat - while at the FHL today I peaked forward into the future to find some Onaghans. Since the record in question was 1843 I added 18 - 25 years on to 1843 and checked baptisms in 1861-1866. There were two Onaghan references, both mothers, no Onagahn fathers. They were Mary Honoghan, mother of Honora Doyle baptized January 19, 1862, father was Patrick Doyle. The second reference was for Sarah Onaghan, two baptisms; Johanna McGrath, baptized February 2nd, 1862, and Joseph McGrath, baptized August 28, 1866, the father was Jacob(James) McGrath. This does not mean that either of these two were the child baptized on July 16, 1843, but one of them probably was. Of course, it might not be either of them, but I am going to try and go back to the 1843 record and see if one of them makes sense.
