Ever since visiting Carlow two years ago, I have kept up with news around the County online, especially in Clonmore where my ggg.grandfather James MOORE was a tenant farmer in the 1850's. I have been away for a few weeks and when checking the website today found that it has now changed to subscription only access. What a disappointment! I enjoyed reading about the village news. Would anyone know what has happened to the property 'Coolalaw House' which, when we visited Clonmore was closed and barred. I since discovered that the owner had died, so presumably the property would have been taken over by family, or sold. Any thoughts (offline) of where I might find any information about this property?
