I agree with Michael's comments plus I have found many errors in the transcriptions which have been done by several other large projects so far including one record which made no sense at all until I saw the original page and the transcriber had just lost their place on the page and combined halves of two different entries. Any record that I find on the 'official' site I would really wish to check against a second transcription if I can't get to see the original page. Just as a guess, I would say that Brian's work will have a much higher degree of accuracy and will continue to be invaluable for a long time. I found this in the 1911 records; because the enumerator couldn't read the word on the original records they didn't put any name in at all and yet when I opened the pdf I found I could read the name quite clearly and I'm only an armature.
