    3. Hi Dee, I have Sheil/Sheilds relatives: James - married Catherine Walsh @ 1865 Their children: John - born 1866 Thomas - born 1868 James - born 1871 William - born 1874 Mary Elizabeth (my grandmother) - born 1878 James was Church of Ireland and Catherine was Catholic so they decided to raise the boys Protestant the the girl was raised Catholic. Here's what I have come to understand from family lore: John was divorced in England and he went to the "south seas". Thomas emigrated to Washington state, James moved to Dublin, William went to Belfast, and Mary E. came to America in 1921. What is the date for your Thomas' citizenship papers? ----- Original Message ----- From: <MacShea95@aol.com> To: <IRL-CARLOW@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 28, 2010 10:01 PM Subject: [IRL-CARLOW] Victoria > Since this is the list with the most gifted members I am going to put out > another query.
