    3. I have a query which I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. I found an article in the Carlow Nationalist 2009 about a Football Team c.1970's and the author referred to them as the GREENBURRIN team. Image and article: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~irlcar2/Carlow_team.htm The players were: Tommy Flynn, Billy Ryan, Oily Hennessy, Paul Haughney, Mick Sullivan, Tommy Sheridan, Niall Broughall, PJ Keating. Gerry Mutton, Gerry O'Brien, John Byrne, Christy Lawler, Gerry Keating. They played in the Dublin AUL (Athletic Union League) and in later years the Counties League. I have searched for the name GREENBURRIN but cant find any mention of them anywhere. Can anyone provide any information that would tell me who they played for?
