Hello I am wondering if anyone can enlighten with information regarding 'mud/shack' type dwellings that were supposedly dotted on landlords lands in the 1800's ? I have been led to believe that such places existed and that these dwellings were sub rented from the tenant living in a property on the same piece of land. I was also told that these dwellings were not included in the griffiths valuation. Can anybody explain more about this please ? Many Thanks Lisa
