Jacob IRETON b. 1808 m. Ann LEE. Emigrated to Canada 1840's with children Thomas, Mary, Annie and William. Family Journal and death reg.'s say that they came from Co. Carlow. Bible entry says Thomas was b. 1834 Co. Wicklow. Were Protestant. Have found this; "Tenants renting land from Earl Fitzwilliam in the townland of Killinure, County Wicklow Ireland. 1839. Anne Burgess has been transcribing the 1839 Fitzwilliam rentals records, and putting them into a spreadsheet for each townland, hoping in that way to construct a sort of census substitute for 1839 in southwest Wicklow........"
