    2. Hi Roger, It would be interesting. I know all this recent info is just possibilities, but its the closest I have ever come to at finding anything on James in Ireland. It was so long ago. Thank you I truly appreciate it. Barb Sent wirelessly from my BlackBerry device on the Bell network. Roughly I think that a Felix Nowland of Co. Carlow may have resettled to the Mallow then the Cork area of Co. Cork in the early 1700s and seems to have been involved in lime export. If anyone on the list has come across anything related to this Felix/Philip Nowland I would be interested. Bye for now, Roger P.S: Here is a link to the company information for Clogrenane Lime headquartered in the Carlow town area http://www.irishlime.com/about.html . They produce lime under the brand name "White Rhino". I also note from the company webpage that it was founded in 1816 which would be just a few years before your Barb's ancestor James Lawlor emigrated to St. John, NB. It would be interesting to query the company about where its first lime kilns were. ----- Original Message ----- From: <annagolan@eircom.net> To: <bpattman@nbnet.nb.ca>; <irl-carlow@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, July 09, 2010 2:20 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-CARLOW] LAWLOR/LAWLER in Leighlinbridge & limestoneconnection > the limes kilns are still very much there in a place called ballinabranagh > near leighlinbridge but on the killeshin hills side. look up WHITE RHINO > which is the trade name of the company! > ----- Original Message ----- > From: bpattman@nbnet.nb.ca > To: irl-carlow@rootsweb.com > Sent: Friday, 9 July, 2010 03:02:43 GMT +00:00 GMT Britain, Ireland, > Portugal > Subject: Re: [IRL-CARLOW] LAWLOR/LAWLER in Leighlinbridge & > limestoneconnection > > Wow, very interesting!
