Hi My GG Grandmother was Mary Kinsella & at the time of her marriage in 1847 to my GG Grandfather John Kavanagh she was listed as living in Ballinrush, Myshall. Although she was born in 1826/7 I cannot find her in the Myshall Baptisms. There seems to be a strong connection to Nolans as a number of them are listed on Johns & Marys' childrens baptisms as sponsors, although I have no idea how. Good story Anna, I have heard of that before and indeed it might help explain why we see so much repetition of some names of people acting as Sponsors for Weddings and Baptisms ...!
