I think the messages may be getting through and appearing on the site , the problem may be that the Lister will not see their Posting in their own inbox when it appears on site, unless another replies to it !, could that be the problem ? I am sure the emails are getting through. Mine show up within minutes. Those that cannot see their own might try checking their email settings. It may be that something is checked to not show the emails sent by them. Listers could also look at the irl-carlow mailing list archives and check to see if it is there, even if it doesn't show up on their own inbox.
