Judy, Thanks. I'll try to track down references to Borris on the website. The main reason for writing back to you is that my wife Joan is from Omaha. Her maiden name is Tesarek. She graduated from Mercy High in 1961, from Creighton U. in 1965, and completed her PhD at Berkeley in 1969. Then she came to work with me on a postdoctoral appointment, but as my friends told me, I found a permanent position for her at the end of 1970, when we were married. So it will be 40 years for us at the end of December. I am retired from UNC (for health reaons originally, but they have been overcome) and she is still working. at EPA in the Research Triangle Park.
