I would say there is something there for everyone, I recognise many of the entries as of interest to Listers and contributers to this site......certainly enough to keep one busy for a week or so ....not sure what happened to the RC entries, will root around...mick On Wed, Jun 16, 2010 at 5:58 PM, Treacy Breen <tab1310@hotmail.co.uk> wrote: > > Only COI records on this for Carlow. These records are wonderful!! I have been trying, without success so far, to find any evidence of TRUEMAN or DOUGLAS(S) heritage around Carlow, or information about MARLBOROUGH DOUGLAS(S) from around 1800 - 1847. He may also be recorded as SAMUEL M DOUGLAS(S) It's very difficult from afar here in Australia. Now with these new records I have several entries for TRUEMAN and DOUGLAS(S) including the entry: Marriage of THOMAS TRUEMAN of ATTY and SARAH DOUGLASS of CARLOW 1847 <http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/bb2d600022896> They are my great grand parents, SARAH DOUGLAS(S) b.1822 approx. is recorded on her death certificate in Australia as having parents MARLBOROUGH DOUGLAS and SARAH ROWE in Carlow. Also the entry Baptism of MARLBOROUGH CLARKE DOUGLASS of CARLOW 1852 <http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/a25d1c0005038> is interesting because of the name Marlborough Any further information about this line will be really welcomed. As far as THOMAS TRUEMAN of ATTY is concerned, can anyone tell me where ATTY is located, or what it is most likely to be an abbreviation of? michael purcell wrote: > I would say there is something there for everyone, I recognise many of the > entries as of interest to Listers and contributers to this > site......certainly enough to keep one busy for a week or so ....not sure > what happened to the RC entries, will root around...mick > > On Wed, Jun 16, 2010 at 5:58 PM, Treacy Breen <tab1310@hotmail.co.uk> wrote: > > >> Only COI records on this for Carlow.
