Hi there, I am helping someone to research their family history in Belfast and was wondering if anyone else out there has any links to the LEGGETT family. The earliest ancestor we have is a William Robert LEGGETT, a master butcher born in Belfast probably around 1880-1900. There is also thoughts that the surname may have started life as LIGGETT?
