    3. Thanks Brian for your suggestion, but Joe Cahill was the Belfast commander of the IRA. I would like to read a biographical book which tells us about every day life in Belfast from the opposing Unionist point of view, to get a balanced picture. I am reminded about the Basil Fawlty sketch where he was told "whatever you do, don't talk about the war". However, I am writing in a genuine spirit of enquiry.
