    3. I hope some kind person on the list can advise me or possibly even do a lookup for me. I have some unauthenticated report that my great-grandmother was born in 1867 at 15 Trafalgar Street Belfast but I have a feeling that that address might be her subsequent marital home. Her maiden name was Isabell(a) Noreen McAuley or McCauley and she married my great-grandfather James Cain, born 1868 in Port Glasgow, Scotland. At some point, he changed his name to Kane and crossed the denominational divide from RC to Presbyterian, or so the story goes. They had four girls and two boys, the elder being John Alexander Kane and his younger sibling being my grandfather James Kane. Sometime around the start of the Great War, the family decamped to Liverpool. I wonder if anyone has a census report for Isabella's McCauley or McAuley family some time between her birth in 1868 and her marriage around 1895/6, possibly at the Trafalgar Street address? Even better, does anybody have a record of this family living in Belfast in the early 1900s? I'd really like to pin down the McCauleys if I could. -- Regards John Kane 0779 446 7809 _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ _/ _/ Map to our house (3 Lindfield Rd., W5 1QS) here: _/ http://tinyurl.com/byp4p _/ We are directly opposite the Methodist church _/ and next door but one to Duffys Pub _/ (on map, see pin A, first entry in the adverts column). _/ _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/
