Hello to the list. I am doing some research for a friend. She is searching for her grandfather who lived and died in Northern Ireland. He thinks he was born just near or in Belfast. occupation -Minister Born circa 1866. His name was Alexander SCOTT he married Sarah Jane DIXON from near Donegal. I think her parents were land owners in that area. Alexander and Sarah had a son Alfred Scott born 7th September 1899 at Carricknahorna "Farm", Ballyshannon If anyone knows of the Carricknahorna Farm or the area, or miracles of miracles connected to Alexander Scott or his wife Sarah Jane Dixon, I would love to hear from you. many thanks in anticipation.
