    3. Happy New Year Brian and everyone on the Belfast List. Brian I am interested in your posting for MAGEE for years I have been looking for my 2x great grandmother Mary MAGEE born circa 1837 Belfast. She married James HANNAH born circa 1835 Belfast. I have no idea when they married or how they came to England but they ended up in Bentham Yorkshire England. Some of their life was spent in Egremont Cumbria and eventually they moved to Skipton where they ended their days. Mary died in 1894 and James in 1918. Other than their children I know nothing else about them. I wonder does my Mary fit in with any of your MAGEE's? With hind sight I think we may have spoken before! Kind Regards Denise in a very cold Scotland brian magaoidh wrote: > Happy New Year to everyone on the list and here are some of the Belfast names I am looking for: > > > MAGEE (Pound Loney & New Lodge area)) > SAVAGE (Falls Road) > McCAIGHY (Falls Rd & Short Strand) > MADDEN(Pinkerton St) > CORR (Pinkerton St) > VALLELY(Short Strand) > > > > Brian Magaoidh > http://ulster.failteromhat.com/ > > > > --------------------------------- > Sent from Yahoo! - a smarter inbox. > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-BELFAST-CITY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > >

    3. Hi Denise, I have had loads of problems with tracking my Magee family and have managed to get back to 1860s. I dont have my records at hand but dont think I will be able to link up with yours at this moment in time. As you have dates of death, have you looked at any obits or death notices which might have been placed in papers? Sometimes you can glean a bit more inofrmation from them. Keep me posted with what you find as one never knows where links are to be found. Best wishes Brian Magaoidh http://ulster.failteromhat.com/ --------------------------------- Sent from Yahoo! - a smarter inbox.
