Hi everyone I am researching my GEBBIE/GABBEY/GEBBY family who originated from Scotland and settled in County Down, some in Grey Abbey, Ballyblack, Newtownards and Belfast. HUGH GEBBIE m. JANE BECK in the early 1800s they had a large family. I would be pleased to hear from anyone with a Gebbie married into their family or any Gebbie families out there, I do have a fair amount of information that I would be pleased to share with anyone.
