Hi Colleen Leadbetter St ran off Old Lodge Road... walk down the road a few hundred yards to the end and you're only seconds from Kent Street and Donegall Street and close to Millfield. May St though is further away across the town maybe 15-20 mins (depends how fast you can walk) Walnut St would be further away again over by Donegall Pass If you google "Donegall Street Belfast" for the current map you'll find it Kent St and find May St further SE and also find Walnut Street. The area of the Old Lodge Road has been complete redeveloped several times and would bear no resemblance to what it was. Can anyone steer in the right direction to find any old maps of Belfast from later 1700's > late 1800's ? I am trying to find & work out how close that Leadbetter st,Kent St,Old Lodge Rd,Walnut Place ,May St & Millfield St, were to each other. Also interested to see how close St Patricks Church in Donnegal St was to any of these other Streets. Also wondering have all these old Streets & areas of Belfast been upgraded to the extent that none of the older buildings are left ? Hoping someone can help. Many Thanks Colleen South Australia cdunk@ozemail.com.au ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-BELFAST-CITY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ___________________________________________________________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint?
