Many thanks Rosemary, now I would like to find out if she is 'mine', any ideas as to where the 'old man' would have been on census night? Still would like to know if there are problems with the site too! I suppose he could have been "down the pub" on Census night? Or visiting someone else and is on their record (very little chance of tracing that)?? I see Helena is in the 1911 census but living in another house (probably as lodger) so her parents might be dead by then (unusual for children to leave the family home in those years unless this happened). I'm afraid it's another brick wall which you have to find your way round. Got lots of them myself. I will try and find out if the site intends to transcribe further documents and if so, will notify the list.
