Hi Wal, I'm not sure if this is a relative of yours but my aunt married a Samuel Smythe in around 1940 in Belfast (possibly in St Annes cathedral). Unfortunately she wont tell me anything about my McCormack side of the family wishing the past to be the past. However, her daughter is a Mrs. Shirley McCutcheon, 4 Silver Birch Gardens, Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, BT19 6ES. She wont tell me anything about the McCormick side either (I think there could be a skeleton rattling somewhere) but she may be she will be interested in hearing from Australia about any possible links to her father.
