Hello Bob in Oz, I am not in Belfast but I know that civil registrations for marriage started in 1845. If you have a local family history centre (LDS) near you, they often have the index films on microfilm. That would enable you to find the exact year, and from that you would be able to order the LDS Film giving you the marriage record or failing that to order the certificate from Dublin.
