The area that is the weakest is that of Irish records, due to many reasons. What would really be of help would be to have searchable on line the civil registration indexes of births, marriages and deaths. It will not give you much but would be an invaluable beginning for sorting out the "Possibles". The GRO offices already have this but you have to go there and have them use it on your behalf. They could increase their actual sales of actual certificates immensely if the indexes were widely available on line.
